Welcome Back Message from the Interim Superintendent

Dear Students, Families, Faculty, and Staff,

I am honored to step into the role of Interim Superintendent of the Lind-Ritzville Cooperative Schools for this 25-26 academic year, and I wish to welcome you to what promises to be an enriching and inspiring school year. Whether you are returning to familiar hallways or starting fresh as a new member of our school community, this is a time of excitement, anticipation, and opportunity.  I have had the privilege of working with wonderful small and rural schools in this area for many years and I appreciate how students benefit from small class sizes and staff who are dedicated to the success of each of our children.  My two sons grew up in a small school setting where they thrived academically and were able to participate in various school and extracurricular activities.

As we begin this journey together, I want to express my deep gratitude for the commitment and dedication that define our Lind and Ritzville Cooperative Schools. Our teachers, support staff, administrators, and community partners have worked tirelessly to prepare for the year ahead, ensuring that every student has the resources and support they need to thrive. Together, your cooperative schools have built a strong foundation for academic excellence, innovation, and inclusion.

This year, we will continue to prioritize high-quality learning experiences that challenge and inspire our students. From innovative classroom strategies to extracurricular programs that encourage creativity and collaboration, we remain focused on empowering every student to reach their full potential.

As your interim superintendent, my focus will be on fostering collaboration across our community. I believe that communication and partnership are the cornerstones of a vibrant and successful school system. This year, I encourage everyone—students, parents, teachers, and community members—to share your ideas, concerns, and aspirations. Together, we can continue building a shared vision that reflects the values and dreams of our entire school community.

The start of a new school year is always filled with possibility, and this year is no exception. It is a time for setting goals, rekindling friendships, and embracing the challenges and rewards of learning. To our students, I urge you to approach this year with curiosity, determination, and kindness. To our families, your support and involvement are invaluable, and we are grateful for your partnership. To our educators and staff, thank you for your unwavering dedication to nurturing the minds and hearts of our students.

While my time as superintendent is intended to be for this interim year, my commitment to serving this district with integrity and dedication is unwavering. I am here to listen, to learn, and to lead with purpose as we navigate this year together. Let us make this a school year that we will all look back on with pride and joy.
